...............in with the bed.
That's right, my baby boy is now sleeping in a toddler bed. We have been trying to decide when to move Daniel into a bed as they normally say that once kids start climbing out of their cot then you should move them. Well Daniel has never tried to climb out of his cot. The decision was made when we realised that Abigael was getting too big for her crib.
Well, yesterday Daddy fixed up Daniel's new bed and we explained that Abigael was going to sleep in his old bed and he was going to get a new big boy bed.
We were a little worried last night about what Daniel would do and I have to brag that it could not have gone better - he stayed in his bed and fell asleep like normal and in the morning he yelled for me to come and get him. I am a very proud Mummy who is also sad that her baby boy is no longer a baby.
While Daniel got a new bed, Abigael got a much bigger cot. Again, she took to it great and seems to enjoy the extra room. With only a month to go until Abigael turns one, I can not believe that we will be leaving the baby stage and entering the having two toddlers stage.
Next up........potty training for the boy who thinks his potty is a bridge for his cars to go under.
