First Hair Cut

So, as many of you know, Daniel is famous for his hair. He was born with a lot and never lost it. Well the time came when he needed a hair cut as I could no longer do anything with it. As I was working, my mum very nicely took him to the hairdressers for me. I was a little worried because Daniel does not like to sit unless he is eating.  However looking at the pictures, you can see I had nothing to worry about, he was very well behaved. When I got home, a new little boy appeared, he no longer looks like a baby but a little boy running around the house.

Doing the laundry

Daniel loves to help me with the laundry. When I get them out of the washing machine, he following me and then helps by taking them all off the table. He also likes it when I cover him with the clothes and play peek a boo.

Learning to Walk

Daniel is now 9 months and wants to celebrate this by learning to walk. As you can see from the pictures, he is doing really well. It will not be long until he is running around.  We went to St. Andrews today (yes, the home of golf) and walked along the harbour.

Saturday Fun

In our house Saturdays are a time for the whole family to have fun together. This Saturday Daniel discovered a magazine that Luke had been reading. Daniel thought that it would be great fun to rip it up with Daddy.

First Day back at Work.

Well today I went back to work after 9 months of maternity leave and I must say that it was a very weird feeling. I was sitting having lunch with a friend and it was like I had never left. But then I would picture my little boy smiling at me and I realised that my life has changed dramatically over the past nine months.

Things went well and when I got home Daniel was all smiles for his mummy.

Our First ever Post

Luke and I have decided that we should start a blog so that family can have an up to date view of our life in bonny Scotland.  At the moment things here are going well, Daniel is growing up too fast and is starting to act like a little boy. Luke has started at Edinburgh University, studying for a Masters degree, and I start back at work tomorrow. Well,  here are a few pictures of us to get started.
