Daniel loves to lay on my bump. Ever since the bump started getting bigger Daniel likes nothing more then to sit on my lap, lift my shirt and then put his head on the bump. Baby girl does not really like it and will therefore kick Daniel in the head. Sometimes, there is an all out fight between them. I don't know what Daniel will do when the bump goes away.

Not a baby any more
So, Daniel is now wearing two piece pyjamas to bed. I'm sure that you are thinking that is no big deal however to me, that is a huge sign that my baby boy is becoming a little man. When he was wearing a one piece it looked like he was still a baby however now he is wearing proper boy clothes. It did make me a little sad. It does not help that at the moment he needs another hair cut because he has the hair of a teenage boy (the messy curly over the eyes look).

I must say that Daniel is a very sweet little boy. I cried for the first time in front of him a few weeks ago (I was having a tough day) and Daniel came over and gave me a big hug. It made me smile that he cared and was trying to help. He is also very helpful, when I bring the washing down from upstairs he will head to the kitchen and open the machine door for me and then help me load the clothes in. I am training him well for his future wife :)

Pictures of baby girl Brewer
As some of you know, Luke and I are expecting our new baby girl in May. The following are some scan pictures. When I was pregnant with Daniel, I thought that he was the most active baby you could get, I thought wrong! Baby girl brewer is always moving. It does not help much that Daniel's favourite place to be is sitting on my lap hugging the bump. The baby does not like it much and it because a battle between them. She is always moving around however she is not a morning baby and only wakes up once Daniel gives her a cuddle. Enjoy the pictures.

The picture above is my favourite, it shows baby girl leaning her head right back. It is amazing becasue you can see her nose, mouth and chin.

Date Night
So, here is a story for you that only a parent would understand. On Saturday, Luke and I dropped Daniel off at my Dad's house and went on a date. It was a really nice evening, we went for dinner and then went and parked by the sea. At around ten o'clock we went and got Daniel and got home around 11:30. We put Daniel to bed however he was not feeling great and really upset, so we thought that it would help him if he come into bed with us just to get settled. That was the worst idea ever! Daniel thought that it was morning and time to get up. We had to bring him downstairs to the living room because we did not want him to wake our neighbours who share a wall with us. So, can you picture it, Luke and I laying on the couch trying to stay awake while Daniel runs around the house kicking a ball at 1:30 in the morning. It was not really how Luke and I thought our date night would end! I finally managed to get Daniel to sleep at 2:30 and then he was up in the morning at 7:50. So the moral of this story is.....if you have a good night time routine, make sure you stick to it or else your son will still be up in the middle of the night playing football.
I know that I can do better
OK,
So I am really bad at keeping up with writing my blog. I am really good at reading other people's which is great because I get to see how my family across the sea is doing however they are missing what is going on here. So, this week I am going to try harder (Elizabeth - feel free to remind me to keep up with my blog). Watch this space as I have some things to share about my little family in Scotland.

First Hair Cut
So, as many of you know, Daniel is famous for his hair. He was born with a lot and never lost it. Well the time came when he needed a hair cut as I could no longer do anything with it. As I was working, my mum very nicely took him to the hairdressers for me. I was a little worried because Daniel does not like to sit unless he is eating. However looking at the pictures, you can see I had nothing to worry about, he was very well behaved. When I got home, a new little boy appeared, he no longer looks like a baby but a little boy running around the house.
