When Daniel was born, my Mum said that she was going to make a quilt for Daniel. Now my Mum works incredibly hard for a living. Not only does she work full time but she watched Daniel twice a week so that I could go back to work part time. Without her support this past year, Luke would not have been able to go back to university. So as you can imagine, she had little time to do the quilt for Daniel. Well this week, she surprised me with the quilt above. It is a beautiful quilt with Daniel name, weight, length and time and date of birth on it. It also has his footprints when he was three months old. It is something that I will treasure as it is something that my Mum did out of love for me and her grandson.
Thank you for all the hard work Mum! It is a truly beautiful gift.
